In the Greater Chicago area, Red Cross relief teams help disaster victims recover after home fires every single day. There are simple steps that everyone can take to protect their home and family from fire. Team Firestopper offers this information through a comprehensive program that focuses on the communities that are disproportionately affected by fires. This volunteer-led program provides education and hands-on community fire prevention activities in the form of a fire safety fair.

Fire safety fairs are composed of interactive stations. At these stations, you will learn valuable fire safety information including home hazards, creating an escape plan for your home and more!

In order to receive the free fire safety items, call 312-729-6265 to register and attend the informational session. 1 bag of fire safety items per family will be issued at the informational session.

First 70 participants to register receive a free:

  • Smoke Detector
  • Carbon Monoxide Alarm
  • Fire Extinguisher
  • Surge Suppressor
  • Window Insulation Film
